🌍 Welcome to KIS Migration Inc.! I’m Katharina Kontaxis, a passionate and seasoned Canadian immigration consultant with a deep-rooted commitment to assisting individuals and families in making their Canadian dreams a reality.

📜 My journey into immigration, refugee, and citizenship law began in Austria, Europe, where I initially studied law from 1996 to 2000. This foundation laid the groundwork for a remarkable career that took me across borders and into Canada.

🍁 After immigrating to Canada, I embarked on a two-decade-long professional odyssey, working in diverse cities like Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, and Edmonton. This broad exposure to different cultures and languages significantly enriched my understanding of the intricacies of immigration and citizenship laws.

🌟 In Edmonton, Alberta, I established KIS Migration Inc., an immigration consultancy firm that thrives on the motto “clients-first.” With fluency in English, French, and German, I bring a unique perspective to the legal arena, effectively arguing complex cases on behalf of my clients.

📚 My dedication to staying at the forefront of immigration law has led me to contribute as an instructor and author. I’ve been teaching immigration, refugee, and citizenship law at Queen’s University since fall 2021, sharing my expertise with the next generation of legal minds.

📝 Additionally, I’ve authored several articles on immigration law and legal research, published on MyConsultant.ca since 2018. I actively participate as an IMMe Forum expert at CAPIC and instruct CPD courses for IMLIN since 2021.

🎓 From 2018 to 2021, I had the privilege of lecturing all courses of the Online Immigration Consultant Program at Herzing College in Toronto, providing comprehensive guidance to aspiring immigration professionals.
